I’m so ready
But for real, I’m seriously hyped. Definitely taking a vacation for this one again.
In other news, I have finally been able to secure a permanent job position! As before, virtually nothing should change when it comes to my focus on the channel, but having job security is definitely one of the most important goals in the modern world. Since I don’t really do anything else outside of work, this stream and community is essentially my main focus at all times, which makes me pretty happy to finally be in a stable position to do. Hopefully for you this means even more active streaming and engagement in the community as a whole, as well as even more events and perks for everyone involved.
I’d also like to give a special shoutout to everyone that has been supporting me directly by subscribing to the channel (some people are even reaching the one year mark tenure!). I feel like I sometimes don’t properly demonstrate how thankful I am, but I am truly honored to everyone that deems me worthy to receive their Twitch subscriptions. Each and every subscriber and viewer makes me feel as if I am doing something right in sharing the chill and laidback atmosphere I seek with my streams and the community. And if I’m not fully conveying this atmosphere to you and there’s something you think I could improve, don’t be afraid to let me know directly or submit it in the feedback survey. I want everyone to be comfortable here, and there is no easier way to work to that goal than with simple communication!
YouTube Extensions
As you may have heard along the grapevine by now, Nintendo is going along cracking down on popular music channels (RIP BrawlBRSTM). Naturally this poses a problem for us, since I run a simple song extension channel myself. Its quite unfortunate Nintendo has taken this asinine stand (although it surprises no one) since they don’t even make the effort to sell their music at all themselves or preserve it…but I digress.
Therefore as a precaution, I’ve gone ahead and removed most Nintendo published song extensions from the YouTube channel. They are not lost however; you may still be able to find these song extensions on the forums…
I will continue to do the song extensions you guys request of me as usual. You can continue to request them using the song extensions form on the top, or by directly posting on the forum thread. However if the song is a Nintendo published theme, or a remix from another YouTuber, I will most likely not post it to the main channel and simply post it in the appropriate forum thread repository. You can continue to request and find everything you’d like right here on the website.
Remember that due to heightened security measures, if you’d like access to the forums please sign up to the website by linking your Twitch account (you can sign up without it, but it will take me much longer to verify and approve you).
Congratulations to Vince and Laura on finally getting married (It was about time). They are definitely a fantastic couple that compliment each other on a deep level. I’m totally not jealous.
